Highway 10, Highway 403 and Queen Elizabeth Way are affected
Motorists in Peel Region should prepare for delays as several highway closures are scheduled for planned roadwork on March 25, 2025. Key routes affected include Highway 10, Highway 403, and the Queen Elizabeth Way (QEW).
The Ministry of Transportation has scheduled these closures for necessary repairs and maintenance. While efforts are made to minimize disruptions, roadwork schedules may be adjusted due to weather conditions, emergencies, or other unforeseen circumstances.
Scheduled Highway Closures:
- Queen Elizabeth Way Toronto bound between Cawthra Road and Dixie Road, Mississauga: two alternating lanes closed from March 23 at 5 a.m. until March 23 at 12 p.m.
- Highway 403 eastbound off-ramp at Highway 407, Mississauga: all lanes closed from March 19 at 10 p.m. until March 25 at 6 a.m.
- Queen Elizabeth Way Toronto bound between Dixie Road, Mississauga and Highway 427, Toronto: two left lanes closed from March 17 at 10 p.m. until March 22 at 5 a.m.
- Highway 10 southbound between King Street and Old School Road, Caledon: one right lane closed from March 6 at 9 a.m. until March 31 at 5:30 p.m.
- Queen Elizabeth Way Fort Erie bound between Dixie Road and Cawthra Road, Mississauga: all lanes closed from March 22 at 8 p.m. until March 23 at 6 a.m.
- Highway 10 northbound between Old School Road and King Street, Caledon: one right lane closed from March 6 at 7 a.m. until March 31 at 3 p.m.
- Queen Elizabeth Way Toronto bound between Cawthra Road and Dixie Road, Mississauga: all lanes closed from March 22 at 8 p.m. until March 23 at 6 a.m.
- Queen Elizabeth Way Fort Erie bound between Highway 10 / Hurontario and Mississauga Road, Mississauga: two right lanes closed from March 18 at 11 p.m. until March 21 at 6 a.m.
- Highway 403 eastbound off-ramp at Highway 407, Mississauga: one right lane closed from March 19 at 10 p.m. until March 25 at 5 a.m.
